Maybe orange?

I also think Milram's kit is super-cool. Simple and different. And I like teams with lots of Germans, so they've got that going for them, too. How about the Tower of Zabel hanging with the peleton to the finish today!? Too legit to quit.

Donna - I love how you are so smart. I really do. :)

Reva - Flo Jo may have died, but she could still kick my ass. You are a wise one to go with my mom. She's Bobke's HUGEST fan. I think she has a crush on him. How cute is that?

Well, I'd also like to say SWEET ASS on the comments, folks! Clean white, simple logo, minimal lettering compared to most other teams . . . classy stuff.

I don't care where you are in the GC or how many stages you win, though - that Phonak gear is seriously haggard.Anonymousnoreply@blogger.comtag:blogger.com,1999:blog-11219197.post-1152636461712174302006-07-11T09:47:00.000-07:002006-07-11T09:47:00.000-07:00PHONAK???????? Also what about the bike in ET?

Jan is actually in Seattle training and he passed me riding from Mercer Island across the I-90 bridge on the 4th. Although, if I remember correctly he was riding a Specialized or a Bianchi and not a Giant.

Masiguy has some expensive taste in bikes that are not his own.

Would Twinn only make tandems?

I think that Masi's ridden by Cutters would win 34 stages of the tour.

chris
iheartbikesAnonymousnoreply@blogger.comtag:blogger.com,1999:blog-11219197.post-1152625704753720212006-07-11T06:48:00.000-07:002006-07-11T06:48:00.000-07:00"I think the testing is a bit willy nilly these da..."I think the testing is a bit willy nilly these days to be giving lifetime bans."

This is the truest statement yet. Also, just food for thought. The teams are saying that the riders in this latest incident need to prove that they are innocent - so guilty before proven innocent (that always bothers me...), yet when Jan asked to have a DNA test to prove the blood they found wasn't his, as far as I've read, well, that didn't happen. Why? I'm sure he'd gladly pay his own money to have the testing done so it can't be money issues with the testing agencies. These are the same folks that would not retest Tyler the day he left the Veualta (sp?) for his blood levels. Again, why? And, if I remember correctly, he offered to pay, too.

Now, I don't want to get into a debate on who is clean and who isn't. Truthfully, we'll all never really know probably. But, CRBK, your statement is so true. The testing needs to become serious (after all, all the guys in this latest incident were not 'caught' in competition) and more uniform. Makes me crazy. Ok, more crazy than I already am.

And I just keep going back to the doctor in the middle of all this...that he doesn't know some of the guys on the public list and he's treated some that are still in le Tour. What is that all about???

Again, makes me crazy.

Seriously, Kirsten Gumm?? And I agree about Al -- he's working well with Bobke this year and they make a good team.

CR - in between trying to get the guys to kiss you over in France, please steal all of those blazers so they guys don't have to wear them any more.
