Go listen!

The Spokesmen episode #25 was recorded yesterday in the morning and was posted last night. It's a good one, so go give it a listen. It's the best audio quality we've had yet and no dropped people... it's a good one.

Speaking of "listening"- ever listen to your iPod and hear a song that you'd forgotten you placed on it, or even forgotten that you own? During my trainer ride this evening, as I was hammering away, one of my all-time favorite songs played in my ears: The Smiths, How Soon Is Now. That song has given me chills for over 20 years now. Made the end of my workout just a little better...

What's your song?

Wedding Present - "Once More". Strategically placed in my roller workout playlist to make that final interval bearable!

My song would be the Barney Song -- "I love you..." etc -- though Bob the Builder "Can We Fix It" is another good one. Both are amazing classics.

At lunch yesterday I was explaining the cultural significance of ABBA to my Indian co-workers.

You are the dancing queen, young and sweet, only seventeen
Dancing queen, feel the beat from the tambourine
You can dance, you can jive, having the time of your life
See that girl, watch that scene, dig in the dancing queen

I used to put random cheesy songs into my playlist for when I was doing a long run in the gym.

I always popped out a non-too-quiet chuckle when it came on.

I've not re-loaded my playlists for about 3 years now, so when I do a Turbo session I get the same thing happening, however, this time I;m alone so no one looks at me with a quizzical stare :)

Metallica's 'Fight Fire with Fire' is a great workout tune. Starts off kind of slow, then rips your head off.
