This is extremely disappointing news. Personally, I could care less what David Millar has to say about it though. I know that he was only quoted because he happened to be in a press conference at the time, but please.... couldn't cyclingnews have found someone without a prior doping offense to quote.

As long as the same lab is testing the samples AND testing the B samples non-anonymously, I remain skeptical. I won't say it's impossible that he's doping, but this lab is known for sloppy, ignorant work and the tech admitted in the Floyd Landis hearing that they knew they were testing his B sample.

I just feel let down now ;(

Tim,

I think we need to live with doping as long as large monetary payoffs are the goal. The innocense of amateur sports and the ethics of professional sports have changed.

I am going to start watching bowling.

I've seen evidence of rampant drug use in bowling, too.

If we hear of evidence that Razzy is actually on some sort of chicken based testosterone then you can forget le Tour ever regaining the popularity it has experienced the last several years.

This is just a shame....it's a shame that all of France now knows who belongs to the B sample some of them will be testing....

I don't know if he did it or not, but he won't get a fair anything now...

It's so sad...all around...

When it is all said and done, Rasmussen will be caught as well. Then we will all get to read, and listen to doping discussions for the next year. "The Chicken" should do us all a favor and pull out now.

Tim,

Sorry to jinx Vino. I said to the wife after we watched the stage that he's on the juice (was just kidding, little did I know).

It's not over, man... as long as there is a MasiGuy, there is still hope for the Tour.

Don't let the dopers ruin your day.

Well it's back to watching Poker, and competitive eating again - with the occasional UFC fight in there.

Why do Pro riders suck so much? I think the UCI sucks even more for slaying people publicly like they do, but check it out, they are already building their case against the Chicken from Denmark...

But what's more American than taking steroids? Really look at Baseball. Bonds is going to kill some record this year and America loves him - even though we all know he is doing drugs...

Cycling was the first sport to start testing and busting riders - now that there won't be any sponsors next year the really racers will come out of the wood work - the racers who can't afford to do drugs, because they are busy working... Tim now is your chance!

watching racing is now like watching a movie, the actors play ing the characters are not the characters. they are just playing them on tv. the riders in the tour are not real racers, they are just playing them on tv.
Geroge Reeves is not Superman and niether is Vino.
