Masi Love

Got this from my good friend Tim Grahl;

Hey Tim,

Thought I'd share the attached picture with you...

I'm sure you've heard of Shonny Vanlandingham of the Luna mountain bike team. Well she has her own coffee farm and is selling her first batch of coffee from Wahine Farms (www.wahinefarms.com) and I bought some. So of course I had to try my first shot of Wahine espresso in my mini Masi mug I got from you a couple years ago :)

Hope you're doing well!

Tim

Makes my heart happy...

I would drink anything that Shonny produces. There must be something in the water.

I am Ridge Harper. I own a Masi Speciale (ca. 2004 or so). It has the smoothest, candiest red paintjob I have ever seen on a bike. I have had few problems keeping up with groups and contesting sprints on MY steel "beast". It goes great with my steel Bianchi SS and Litespeed mt. bike. Unfortunately, it stays attached to my Kurt trainer and sees no road action since I moved to South Georgia (roads too narrow, no shoulders). I love my Masi and my kids too and have started folowing your blog. Thanks for the good writing!

P.S. coincidentally, my best friend lives in Carlsbad! I have been there and drooled over the Pacific Highway and copious riding opportunities.

Ditto on holding out on the espresso cups. Where can I get some for my office?

— How does one get a fine mug like that?

The mugs were give aways at Interbike about 3 years ago. If I bring them in as something to sell, would you buy them for close to $10/ea? They weren't cheap and I don't want to get anything that's crap... know what I mean?
