i have redwoods *and* the coast here in Santa Cruz County :-)
Someone got a new camera! No oceans, no redwoods, just lots of quiet roads with almost NO CARS up here.
Gorgeous, bright colored trees here in New England...orange, red, yellow...beautiful.
What me jealous?
Yesterday I took the "Speshialay Kar-bone" (Italian accent there) down PCH, up and over Newport Coast with a side trip up Spyglass Hill (where one could see from Palos Verdes to Catalina), down around the Back Bay and thence home.
Today an easy spin up PCH (that's Pacific Coast Highway for the poor unfortunates who are destined to ride "turbo-trainers" for the next five months) to Sunset Beach and back. A couple of the most beautiful California days I can remember.
Dang but this bike climbs nicely. Too bad the motor is getting old and slow.
Now we know why a Bama man made it out to the Left Coast ;)
