Daily Drive

Here a little earlier today. Trying to get back to it... I swear. (Thanks again folks for all the support and encouragement.)

I know... I need a shave. But the shirt, minus dog hair, is too damned cool!

And the badass new socks from SockGuy today;

Ride Clean!

It's ok to be jealous... no really, it is.

Daily Drive- I'm back... sorta..

Sorry for the lengthy delay and absence. Lots to talk about, lots going on, lots of photos... lots.

But, since it has been so long and I keep getting emails wondering A) "where are the socks" and B) "are you still alive"... here is a short post, with socks.

Yesterday;

Today;

Socks yesterday;

Socks today;

And I got some new SockGuy socks today... so there will be new goodness to freshen things up.

Thank you all for your support and concern- it means more to me than you know. FYI; Never, ever get bronchitis.

Hot!

Go here...

See this...

Awesome!

Tim

I may have been wrong...

Previous claims of mine that "I am not dead", may have been a little premature.

Instead of "dead", it looks like I am just simply "sick" with what looks to be a really nasty case of bronchitis. I feel like death warmed over in a microwave... and my chest, back and throat hurt like hell from the very hard cough. I've been in bed for most of the day today and may find myself in the same spot again tomorrow, as I wait to get an appointment with my doctor.

So posting will be flat for a while still.

The boys from the A&F Pro Development team have received their team frames and forks and are hurriedly building them and driving to Macon, GA for their team camp. I attended camp last year and had one of the very best times I've ever had on a bike with a bunch of guys. Last year's team was simply amazing and from what I've seen so far of the new team, things are only going to be getting better.

As soon as I am able to sit up a little longer, I will begin to put up the rider bios and the remaining team press releases- along with pictures from camp (as they show up).

Sorry I can't be there this year guys... so send me cool stories and more incriminating pictures.

I'm not dead.

To dispel any rumors and squash any hopes, let me just say that I am not dead.

Life, work and (bad) health have all taken a larger role recently. I'll be back soon enough- sorry.

Team updates, Daily Drives, more Tales from Taiwan, industry insight and titillating product news will return. I promise.

Daily Drive

So I know I've been a little flaky on the posting lately. Busy. Life. Whatnot... I also wanted to give the team press release from last week a little time to breathe. (I'll have the team sponsors and rider bios here later today too.)

The little Princess in full Princess mode...

She's really the star of the show... I have accepted that fact.

Kind of an ordinary sock day today...

They may not be glamorous, but they sure are comfortable!

Both of the "youngins" in the car.

And today's sock is not an officially sanctioned SockGuy sock...

Daily Drive

A nice morning today... starting to feel a bit like Spring around here.

And an old favorite for the SockGuy sock dujour;

You know the expression; If the sock fits, wear it.

Out of respect for my colder weather friends, I will abstain from mentioning that it was 86 degrees during my ride yesterday and 78 today. That just wouldn't be nice.

(PS- More Taiwan pics and ramblings to follow soon.)

Here we go... back to "normal"-

Not the best lighting, but when you have the Masidaughter in the picture, it gets better...

And today's SockGuy sock du jour is the ever popular Big Rooster.

Daily Drive and more...

So I've been really bad about the posting lately. Between the food poisoning/ stomach flu and trying to get back onto regular time and all the catching up after being out of the office for so long... it's been a tough week. Thank you all for the support and all of the positive comments while I was away and upon my return- I greatly appreciate it. Hopefully, this next week will get me back to being on schedule.

So now for a couple days of late Daily Drives...

Thursday-

Still looking and feeling a little green at the gills...

At least I still have great SockGuy socks to make my feet feel good- classic brown wool.

Friday-
Slightly less green and almost "human" again. Solid foods for the first time in several days. The good news is that I lost 5 pounds.

____________________________________________________________________

The Taiwan trip was such an eye opener. I didn't have too many preconceived ideas about Taiwan, but I'd heard many things over the years being in this industry and many things weren't too flattering. I came away with a renewed respect for the country and the people. And I am very proud of the relationships I have there and the people that Masi works with. You can rest assured that you are getting the very best quality possible and that the workmanship and attention to detail is exceptional. I've seen it firsthand, so I can vouch for it. Every bike nerd on the planet should get the chance to make a pilgrimage to Taiwan. I know it doesn't have the sexy ring of Italy or France, but you just have to see it to believe it. It's amazing!

Our Pro/ Elite racing team, the A&F Pro Development Team, is getting ready for their team camp. From all I have heard and read from the guys, it sounds like the team will be a spectacular success. Last year's team had an amazing chemistry, but this year's team promises to be even more sensational. I can't wait to see the results start pouring in. I will be posting the full team roster and sponsor list here in the coming days, along with rider profiles like last year. (I'll even be finally updating the company website ... finally.) If you thought the profiles were funny last year, this year will really kill you. These are some great guys and some great personalities. I am very proud to be associated with them and I am confident they will be racking up the wins all over the country.

Again, thank you all for the support and well wishes. I value your readership and participation, more than you know.

Tim
