The drive-
And the socks...
I love the guys and gals at SockGuy.

Photos of my current rides-
My Speciale Fixed built up like a TT rig so I can do Kilo/ TT workouts. I've decided to really give the Kilo a try this year. I hate Kilo... really hate it. Since I don't get much (any) track time to train, I figured I'd use my lunch rides a few times a week to work on Kilo efforts. That 50x15 gear is a real pain in the ass on the hills around here though.
And now for something totally different...
29" single speed; the Haro Mary SS in the all new color. Notice the old school dirt drop bars! Oh yeah, you can't deny it. I'm going to be at Sea Otter next week and I'm going to do my very first MTB race- the SS race. Should be a lot of fun... if I don't kill myself in the process.
And it rides SWEET! Seriously, I haven't had this much fun in a long time. It is amazingly fun- I'm so glad Haro is my parent company.
Admit it... you're jealous.

Tim,
"I just KNEW you would have a pre-release 'Speciale' for rigorous testing."
After all, 'Steel is Real!'
My worn bones are tender! :)
Yep, I'm jealous. That Haro is beautiful. I've always like a baby blue bike.
you finally got on the dirt and you didn't hurt yourself... there must have been flying pigs in san diego recently...
BRAGGART!!!
WRW- The frame is a pre-production sample from the current model, which is why the decals are the wrong size on the fork and in the wrong spot on the seat tube... but I've gotten over it. It's good to be the head of the brand and get to ride all the samples.
Phil- The paint is really cool too. It's a "70% gloss" so it has a slight matte finish and texture. It's way cool... and it rides really great. Totally by accident, I got the fit and set up damned near perfect. I can't wait to race on it.
iheartbikes- butthead! Just because I usually spend as much time in the bushes/ cactus and crying as I do riding, doesn't mean I don't still have fun. As background, for the rest of the class here, I am notorious for crashing in the dirt. My dirt skills are ridiculously bad. I am totally confident on my track bike, riding Keirin with the fastest riders in the world, but put me in the dirt and I'm back to square one. I also crashed so bad in the dirt, when I was working for NiteRider in 1997, that I tore the PCL ligament in my right knee. The ortho told me that tearing the PCL is very rare... I told him he'd never seen me ride a mountain bike.
Changuito- It ain't braggin' if it's true. (I knew you'd like the Mary color.)
Heck, I'm jealous you can make time to ride! Okay, I'm jealous of you bikes too...
AH Man!!! come on, that is not fair. 29 ss, with drop bars!!! I want one pretty please!!!
That's a pretty bike, but I love that Jersey even more!
I love that geeked out Speciale! And having ridden those hills (hells?), I am definitely impressed by the gearing!
AHHHH! You've gone mad my dear Masiguy. Kilo----Kill-yo! Mary 29r straight from the operation table of sick and twisted....LOVE IT!
Wow...
that is about all I can say about those bikes
I feel your pain with the fixed gear on the hills. I am running a 52/18 right now.
HeckleJack has too many mtn bikes.
I believe I need a dope 29er first.
Love the old-skool Mavic cranks! How did you mount them? Did you chamfer the bb shell to get a Mavic bb to fit or is it on with just a Shimano bb? What length spindle are you using? I've got a set of M cranks/bb and haven't figured out how to mount them. Great looking bikes!
The orange fixie looks great. I know it comes as a complete bike, but do you also sell it as a frameset?
Any chance of posting some shots of the Coltello Track bike in action???
