First, I have to give my heartfelt thanks to all of my friends, family and readers- the support has been nothing short of touching.
Typing is really hard with 1.5 hands, so this will be short tonight. I will be back with more and pictures too... I promise.
I will be ok and I will be back... but it's gonna be a long journey (and a painful one at that).
I just wanted to let everybody know I'm home and alive. Alive is the word... and I'm lucky to be able to say that. Luckier than I ever want to get again.
I'll be back tomorrow with pictures and a few more words (typing is really hard). I might even record a podcast- since that might be easier.
I don't know how to say thanks to all of you- I'm not too proud to admit that I've cried a few times over the incredible kindness I've received.
Thank you.
Tim

Tim,
We're right beside you, every step of the way. Don't be too proud to let us help.
Glad you're feeling well enough to tell the tale. Go slow. We're not in any hurry.
Drew
Heal quickly Tim!
Tim! Glad to have you home buddy and I know you are glad to be there. But remember that it's most important to get rest right now, the blog isn't going anywhere!
Good to have you back!
Welcome back! You gave us quite a fright. So glad to hear that you're going to be okay. Sending virtual hugs.
Tim,
I hope my prayers helped the most! I'm at a loss for words which isn't like me, as you know. I'm just so happy that you actually posted something. Keep up the healing, and of course do EXACTLY what the doctor tells you to do! Oh yeah, and please stay alive, I still owe you Sushi!
Daniel
Tim- Good to have you back, man. Now hurry up and get better! All the best, and I'll be thinkin' about you. :)

This is probably the best post you've ever done...because you are here to do it! Knowing that you are home, resting and HEALING is the best news I've heard in a week.
As others have said...take the time to heal...the blog, your readers and your friends will all be here whenever you have the ability to be back on a regular basis.
Rest...enjoy the fresh, non-hospital air and let your family and friends help you through this as much as they/we can.
Glad you're home. Get well soon. You are in my thoughts and prayers!
Welcome Home!
Yay! We're so happy that you're back and getting better every day.
You had a lot of people very worried there. Take care of yourself and get lots of rest. We'll be here to hear all about your adventure when you're ready.
Tim:
Good to see the blog (and thus you) alive.
Welcome back.
The road to recovery will certainly be long, and for most of us out here in internet-land, the acuity of your situation will pass, so never forget to go back through comments and email and cards and stuff if and when you find yourself in a low spot in the journey.
You are certainly well thought of out here.
Take care. We'll continue to pray for swift recovery/rehab.
It is great to see a new post here because that means you are feeling well enough to pass along an update. Rest up and continue to get better though. All your friends in the blogosphere will be waiting patiently until you feel up to returning.
Hi Tim,
I'm so glad you're on the mend.
I hope you heal up fast.
Take care, be well,
Taliah

I would like pictures of your amazing hair. I want to make sure that survived!
Good to have you back!
Great to have you back. Get Well Soon!
Mr. Tim,
Everyone at Cane creek are happy you are doing well and wish you the speediest recovery. I hear Dave "PoleBender" Bittenbinder bent the pole one year in San Diego...you are in good company but let's not repeat this scare. Get well soon my friend.
Josh
Glad to hear you're well enough to be home.
Glad you to hear you are up and about, kind of. I am so sorry about what happened. You know the minneapolis crew would love to help out any way we can. Just give the word.
From your friends over here at Interbike, it's great to see the Masiguy posting again. We're pulling for a speedy recovery, Tim. All the best.

Everything in this life happens for a reason, especially when bad things happen to good people there is a definite reason.
Out of what seems to be extreme misfortune something good will reveal itself eventually. Keep reminding yourself of this, and when in pain don't look for relief but look for answers.
Ask why, ask for reasons why, and above all ask for the answers to be revealed to you. The answers will come to you just as surely as you will recover from this.
Dave
Would you hurry up and heal already! I hate poking fun at a guy who's down.
Seriously, glad to hear there's no permanent damage beyond your pre-existing conditions.
XOXOXO
Mike
I'm still in the dark on what happened...
Regardless, I'm glad you're doing better. Take it easy.
Hi Tim,
Glad you are home and healing! Stay strong.
-Angelo
wuss...
Fell better
I was stunned to see you in the hospital so banged up! I know you will be back on the bike in no time at all.
Here is to a quick recovery and I am glad to hear you are home.
BT
Tim, I heard about the accident on the Spokesmen. Get well soon!
Cheers,
Stephen
Good to have you back. I wish you all the best with your recovery.
I heard you went down for the count. I'm sad to hear that.
Almost two years ago, I fell off a log and got helivac'ed out.
Very early on in the recovery, I realized that each day was better than the previous day. That got me through and I vowed to be a better person and a better cyclist than before.
Healing vibes for your recovery.

Tim,
Would you hurry up and get better already! I hate poking fun at a fella who's down.
Seriously, glad it sounds like a full recovery (that's probably a good thing, eh?) is in order.
Mike
Tim - Can't wait to have you back to full health. Perhaps it's a *bit* of an understatement to say that you feel the same way.
You can do this, with all the bumps in the road. You've made it this far, and from what I can tell you've got some of the best, most supportive friends on the planet.

Tim,
I am so glad to hear that you're out of the hospital and on your way to getting back in the saddle.
Heal quickly!
So glad you are going to be okay Tim! I'm a FredCast and Spokesmen listener and have checked out your blog on occasion. I was really sad to hear about your accident. Thank goodness you are not worse. Get better soon!
Glad you're back home. I hope you have a speedy and complete recovery.

Man, I was starting to wonder what happened...glad to hear you're on the mend.

Welcome back! Seeing you standing up holding that helmet is thanks enough!
Wishing you all the best in your recovery.
-Chris
Wow - what a crash. What happened?
Heal quick and thanks for the helmet reminder.

Good to hear that you are doing better. I was there that night and I'm amazed to see you're doing as well as you are. I hope all is well with your family as I know your daughter was justifiably upset that night. Take good care and I look forward to seeing you back (Not too soon though). Until next time...

Tim,
Great to read you on your blog. Thank you for the news. As Drew mentioned, take your time... and take care my friend.
Luc.
Tim, I am so glad to see you are back "home", well, at least out of the hospital! You know I am not far away, so if there is anything I can do, please let me know.
I am sending prayers for a speedy and full recovery. And, I plan to show your helmet photo to my two boys - what a testimony!!
Best wishes.
Well I guess your crash tops mine. So take your time getting me a new bike buddy! LOL.
Make sure to hit Hekman up with some ways to pass the time when healing. He gave me solid advice. HA
take care buddy!
